Triangles
I bought two triangles yesterday. A big one and a small one. I also played a $7000 electronic drum kit. Didn’t buy that. So I’m going to hang my triangles up and get ripping. I’ve always wanted a triangle, but somehow it’s never the percussion piece I buy when I’m checking out Steve’s downtown. That’s all changed now, because for the princely sum of $8 I now own all the triangles Steve’s sells. I expect now to have featured triangle parts on all my music for a month or so. :)
There was also this beautiful sounding set of stacked bells or chimes…but it was $200. So I didn’t get that either. And again I deftly avoided buying a tambourine. I don’t know what that’s about , but for some reason I can’t commit. I look at them every time but can’t reach out and make it happen. I’ve never thought to myself, “you know, I really ought to put tambourine in this song”, but I also bet that if I had one, I’d find use for it. Oh well, next time. Until then, I have triangles. Two of them.
