SOUNDTRACK – The Progress Report
Things are definitely heating up in SOUNDTRACK HQ. I’ve been super-busy testing out website features, getting my head wrapped around making same work properly (or at all!), generating the background mythos that hopefully will tie the release to the website a little tighter-ish and things of that nature. I finally found a decent embedded audio player that doesn’t break my website and seems to perform across browsers – yay! There is also a very cool video component that’s being tooled up concurrently to my work on the front side of the site. I won’t say much right now, but I think it’s pretty kick-ass!
Next on the hit list is to get the CD and artwork manufactured. Thinking the first run will be supplied by www.pcxmedia.com – they seem pretty cool, inquiries have been totally handled with awesomeness, and they’ve got really simple and flexible short-run capabilities which are reasonably priced. Existing with one foot in reality as I do, I think a small batch to start is the best approach.
Once that’s ordered, it’s back to web-land to tidy it all up, release it to some beta-viewers and then get rehearsing for some sort of live show for the release party. Which I should also book somewhere…
