SOUNDTRACK - PR and Web Plan Stuff
Awesome things are afoot with the soon-to-be-released SOUNDTRACK album. Last week I met with Pam who’s specialty as a publicist/PR/Social Media may be able to help get the word out, dragging eyeballs and ears to the SOUNDTRACK world, and last night I supped with Brad and discussed the cool things we have planned for the SOUNDTRACK web experience, some cool features of the web site and some over arching design strategy, in addition to destroying a Sticky Toffee cake which tasted nothing like the dates that apparently make it.
It’s kind of surreal to be in this final push of packaging/marketing/web-in-ing… I’ve been sitting with this simmering pot of ideas for so long, I guess part of me never thought it would see the light of day. But it seems to finally be coming together, and so every day is getting to be a little more exciting. Right now, things are looking hopeful for a late October release, but of course that may change a little. Don’t want to get out there in the Christmas season, so it will definitely be before that.
