SOUNDTRACK - nearing completion!
Things are heating up pretty nicely here in SOUNDTRACK central. The album’s music piece is complete. The artwork is 97% complete, and with my new laptop in play it is only a matter of days before it’s all done as well. I’ve sourced out what seems to be the best possible deal for short-run duplication in North America, and I’ve begun fleshing out the website which will accompany the whole project. I’ve got a couple of meetings in the next week to finalize some deets, and then it will be a sprint to the finish line. It’s a fairly huge undertaking to put out a CD, and even a bit moreso if you’re neurotically attached a specific presentation esthetic as I am. I can’t WAIT for this project to get out there and do it’s thing so I can start planning the live show to support it. I have an equally huge undertaking in mind for the live piece… no rest for the wicked, or some such said thing.
All that said, I’m hoping to have this all ready to go for end of October. Seems fitting to shoot for that as I think the first announcement I made about the album’s release date was for October 31, 2006.
