Roger Waters - Dark Side of the Moon
My good friend Scott and I are heading to Toronto to see this.
I’ve never paid $150 for a concert ticket before, and strangely enough I don’t really feel badly about having done it this time. Tried to get seats in Ottawa, then Montreal, but we couldn’t get seats that were out front….duh. I’m willing to be the whole experience is just a TAD better if you’re at least semi-centred to the stage, although for most concerts I kind of like the side view looking down on the stage as its kind of cool to see the whole setup.
Not this time though….immerse me, Roger!

I can’t wait! Rog is gonna rock our worlds!
Yeah?! Well, I’M going to see Heaven and Hell this Saturday right here in Londonia so suck on it! Actually, this is kind of funny…I saw Ronnie James Dio the first time at Exhibition Stadium on the Sacred Heart tour (the biggest stage show ever to that time, but didn’t age well on later viewings…) with about 15,000 people. Next time was about 12 years later, sometime in the late 90’s, I saw Dio at - The Embassy. Yes. Bright Red & Black played on the same stage as the former lead singer of Black Sabbath and one of the most successful metal acts of the eighties and early nineties. It was my brother, myself, and about 150 of our closest friends. Sad, really. I could barely see Ronnie, even though he was 15 feet away from me, because the stage is only about 3 feet high. And now…a decade later or so, John Labatt Centre is sold out, 10,000 people again. That man has had an interesting career, to say the least.
H&H! Awesome! Londonia is just steeped in music historyi, isn’t it? Who knew?
I DID! Hell - Radiohead played at Call the Office - another stage shared by the mighty Bright Red & Black!!
