animalnoise Here’s a table that compiles the sounds animals make and the way in which languages from around the world deal with them.  As you might expect, many are variations on the same thing, but there are some interesting and funny ones.

Notably, the Woodcock is only represented with an English "peent".  Also, Camel nuzzing is apparently only an English or Russian experience.  :)
