All Good Things….
…come to an end, and so it is with my role as guitarist for Brad Sucks‘ live band. Nothing untoward or nasty going on, but rather just me feeling the squeeze of being a Dad, husband and small business owner.
The last year and a half have been lots of fun as we ramped up to a level of performance that worked well live. I’m going to miss getting out in front of a crowd, but mostly I’ll miss hanging with the guys at rehearsal, sucking back our beer of choice, Lucky. 
So, I say best of success to Brad Sucks and his band of merry music makers: Bruce Spence and Matthew McGarvey…at least for now. Catch you cats at a gig somewhere soon! (Well, for sure this Saturday, I’m still playing that one at Maverick’s)
The silver lining to this is that I’ll have more time to move a few projects along that I’m terribly excited about. First on the list is digging into the production of Brad Sucks‘ album 2, which is scheduled to be released Spring ‘07. Mixing has begun and it sounds awesome! Right after that work will begin in a focused way on my own album, long overdue and oft pushed off to do other stuff, like pretend I don’t actually need to write lyrics or structures or bridges yet….

I am sorry to hear this. Although I understand perfectly, I am a father of 3 myself. So now that the distraction is now gone I want to hear that album!!!!
